Cowton Riding Centre offers a wide range of equestrian activities, including lessons, trekking, hacking, livery, pony parties and training courses. Situated in the Mearns countryside overlooking the picturesque seaside town of Stonehaven, the Centre is within easy travelling distance from Aberdeen and surrounding areas. The Centre is open all year round, except Christmas and New Year.
Facilities include car parking, a well-equipped large indoor arena with a seating gallery for a hundred people, a floodlit 40m x 20m outdoor manege, a cross country jumping practice field and excellent off road hacking with a range of terrain to suit every level of rider.
The Riding Centre is open Tuesday to Friday 9am – 9pm, and Saturday and Sunday 9am – 7pm. The Centre is closed on Mondays except to livery clients. Facilities are available for private hire subject to availability.
Cowton Riding Centre is a member of the Association of British Riding Schools and the Trekking and Riding Society of Scotland.
