World horse Welfare show, Brechin 18th July

By Lesley | Published July 20th, 2010

Foxy, Argenta, falla and Shakira attended the Brechin show on Sunday. All did very well and as it was Shakira’s first outing we were all very impressed with her and Lucia: Horse travelled well and Lucia kept her nerve, resulting in coming home with a third in the riding club horse class and a fourth in the heavy horse class. Well done to them both.

Argenta had her first experience of proper showjumping, and much to everyone’s relief proved to be unconcerned by the spooky fillers, and jumped well, taking the sixth place after the jump off. She also took 1st in riding club horse and adult equitation and 4th in the part bred m&m class. well done to her and Louise.

Despite Gail having a shoulder injury, she and her horse Falla took 4th in the pre vet. in hand, 2nd in the riding club horse, and 5th in the palomino class. well done to them both.

Foxy and lesley C. took 3rd in the veteran ridden class and  2nd in the adult equitation, well done to them both.

A big thank you to Michaela, who kindly gave up her Sunday lie-in to help at the show.
